QIGONG: (pronounced "chee gung”) Energy Work. Developed in ancient China, it is a system of flowing movements coordinated with deep breathing and meditation. Qigong has numerous proven health benefits including improved flexibility, muscle strength, balance, and heart and lung functions. It decreases stress and reduces muscle pain and stiffness and is deeply relaxing. Qigong is also practiced to improve sports performance. It is suitable for all ages and most fitness levels. The combination of movement and meditation will help you start your day feeling refreshed, energized and relaxed.

YOGA: Many different styles of yoga are interwoven and their movements synchronized with breath, linking the postures together for a dynamic flow. This fluid nature becomes a dance allowing for the mind to settle into the present moment. Melissa teaches to the needs of every student, focusing on safe and sound alignment. The class is suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners.
